Paris, Garnier, circa 1860; in-8, XXXI-615 pp., full garnet morocco binding, smooth spine, fillets on covers, mosaic title and ornamentation, interior in a frame illustrated with roses, purple moire lining and in a burgundy box. This very beautiful binding is certainly an exercise in the mastery of a worker or a gift made especially for a master bookbinder named Heitz and produced in Nancy in 1917. Ninth edition collect the abbeys of Touraine, illustrated with 425 drawings by Gustave Doré .
