"Carlo Nason Lamp"
Designer Carlo Nason was born in 1935 in Murano into a family of expert glassmakers. In the 1960s, he decided to distance himself from the family business mainly oriented in the manufacture of traditional decorative objects. He redirects his creation towards the design of glass lighting in a modernist language. I see a resolutely modernist lamp from the 60s. The base is in chromed metal topped with an opaline. Once the lighting is on, the opaline diffuses a soft, white light. (On the photo it appears yellow, but it is a luminous effect, the lighting is very white). It is equipped with a fabric-covered cable (new) and a Led bulb (white). The glass is 21 cm in diameter.
