"Gilt Bronze Chandelier Signed Octave Lelièvre (1869-1947)"

Large Louis XVI style chandelier in gilded bronze. In the center an ovoid body supports 6 sconces in acanthus leaves. The central shaft is decorated with garlands, its base carries a bouquet and a pine cone supported by two trimmings branches ending in a Rocaille style cup. Chandelier from the 1910s signed Octave Lelièvre sculptor, Susse frères editions. Note some wear of gilding on the sconces, the electrification is redone.
