Surprising Reliquary Frame With Ex-votos, XX Eme Century

A rather surprising reliquary frame, it is a very beautiful frame in formerly silvered bronze, presenting on a crimson velvet background a collection of different ex-votos and pious charms.
the bronze frame is very heavy and is symmetrically decorated with a cartouche decorated with flowers and acanthus leaves in the style of the regency.
we find this finely worked cartridge at the top and bottom of the frame.
Regency style angels decorate the sides of the frame at mid-height. this beautiful frame entirely in bronze has lost some of its silver plating.
inside, placed on a crimson velvet background and protected by a window, we can see different ex-votos: entwined flaming hearts, a flaming heart stamped with golden initials, an ex-voto decorated with eyes.
they are mixed with a collection of medals with a profile of Pius XII, a medal of the virgin and child, a medal with an Ave Maria, a small cross, a Star of David probably in gold, a shell cameo.
these different objects are surrounded by a string of mother-of-pearl beads ending in a small mother-of-pearl cross with a Christ.
a chatelaine decorated with green and red glass beads is on the left.
a pocket embroidered with silk flowers is at the bottom of the frame.
the whole composition is superb and very aesthetic. each ex-voto and charm are securely attached to the velor with sewn threads.
