"Writing Box"
English ship's writing box, in mahogany wood with brass fittings. The set presents the typical distribution of this type of accessories used in 19th century England by gentlemen when they had to travel. On the outside, it is reinforced with brass corner pieces and has two side handles for better transfer. Inside, it has a hinged opening system that gives rise to a writing space with space for inkwells and pens, as well as a red velvet top that served as a table. behind there are compartments for documents and a secret drawer. At the bottom is a drawer that houses several compartments of different sizes for storing writing instruments. Good conservation.
