"Large Ewer In Cloisonne China."
This cloisonné enamel ewer, which we present, came out of the workshops of China probably in the 19th century. To notice its rather Arabizing form, it is possible that it was a production for the Arab countries, we are thinking of Iran, but that only engages us. In any case, the work of this object is very neat and the combination of colors in the enamels make it a very harmonious piece. The handle represents a fantastic head probably of a dragon and at the start of the spout also. This object is in an absolutely perfect state of preservation. The cover is removable and held in place by a chain. Dimensions: Height 48 cm Oval base 16.5 x 13.5 cm From the dragon's horn to the edge of the spout 34.5 cm.
