"Sumba Bracelet In Ivory"
Ivory bracelet from the island of Sumba in Indonesia. This type of bracelets was part of the trousseau that brides wear to the wedding. They were also used, later, as currency for the purchase of animals and household items. As can be seen in the photo, the bracelet has many remains and traces of use and an old patina.
