"Fur Bracelet In Ivory"
Large African ivory bracelet from the Fur culture, This bracelet had a dual use, decorative to embellish the woman who wore it, but also to knit or sew. The bracelet has a groove in the middle where the thread has been wound up like a spool. On the side it has a decoration of dots surrounded by circles. Intense brown patina. Good condition. Nineteenth century.
