Fruit bowl or empire period centerpiece in gilded bronze with mercury and cut crystal. The round base is surrounded by a frieze of acanthus leaves and rests on three legs in the shape of a lion's claw. A richly chiseled stem which houses two glass plates also carved and surmounted by a handle in the shape of a laurel wreath in part. It is worth noting the quality of the sea bream and its magnificent state of preservation. Note a small crack on the upper plate
