"Weekly Wood Veneer Stamped J. Lapie XVIIIth Century"
Small Louis XV-Louis XVI transition diary in veneer wood: rosewood arranged in chevrons in scalloped reserves and framed with a boxwood net, Rosewood in the frames. It opens with six drawers, the lower one is double, the rounded uprights and cut sides end with small arched feet. The wooden top with rounded corners is inlaid in chevrons. The locks and keyholes are original, only one posterior bronze entry. It bears the stamp of Jean Lapie born in 1734, master in 1762 as well as the JME Travail Parisien from the second half of the 18th century.
