"Church Trunk In Iron Late 18th Century"
Iron church trunk with double security system from the late 18th century. The four-sided trunk opens on the front by a door mounted on a hinge, keyhole in oval bas relief, key and functional lock. Dimensions of the trunk: 24 cm X 14 cm. Depth: 7 cm Upper part in the shape of a quadrilateral flared upwards to receive donations and fixed inside by two square nuts. The body of the church trunk is entirely assembled internally by riveted metal legs. This trunk is itself held by an ingenious mechanical (functional) key system on an iron plate which was itself fixed to a wall. Small modifications on the keys which are old but maybe not original. Iron set weathered by time and in good condition. Note: very interesting object by its double security system. Weight: Delivery: 20 € for metropolitan France.
