Pair of bronze sculpture with brown patina representing rearing horses facing each other, with their groom. Representation of two horses, made to adorn the drinking trough of the Château de Marly, commissioned by King Louis XV in 1745 to Guillaume Coustou. Bronze after Coustou, old edition of the Second Empire. They are presented on molded black marble plinths decorated with a row of pearls. On one side of one of the base a marble plate replaced by a blackened wood plate as well as the lack of a small angle on the same base (visible on a photo).Dimensions: Height T: 31 cm - Width: 24.8 cm - Depth: 12 cm
