Late 19th Century Card Case

Elegant vintage card holder from the late 19th century. The oblong case covered with burgundy velvet has an oval central medallion decorated with small dots embroidery illustrating a bouquet of roses. The velvet on each side remains in good condition. The oval frame as well as the contours of the case are delimited by a thin riveted metal rod (small scattered marks of oxidation) and chamfered. Side gussets in faded pink silk in good condition. The case contains another sliding case covered with pink moiré silk, a tear in the fabric visible on one side, side gussets in good condition. The interior can accept several business cards of a size such as that of a bank card Note: the delicacy of the embroidery in excellent condition. Delivery: 10 € for metropolitan France.
