"Oil On Panel 16th"
On an oak panel "the disciples or the meal of Emaüs", attributed to Hieronymus Francken I, bearing a label on the back "from the collection of Chanoine Van Caeneghem", slightly split and restored panel on the back, in a pretty gilt frame with the turn of the century sheet with label of the framer of Brussels, Flanders 16th. Hieronymus Francken I called "the old man" 1540-1610, Flemish painter of the Antwerp school.
