"Marine Chest, Norman Or Breton Ship Owner 18th"
Rare marine chest, probably from a Norman or Breton shipowner, from the 18th century, in oak formerly lacquered. Beautiful ironwork and three locks, with their 2 original keys. The side hinges hide the keyholes. Large central lock. Wrought iron handles on the sides for transport. Good condition, usual restorations especially at the bottom, formerly repaired. Internal dimensions: H 49 x W 57 x D 41 cm
