Object description :

"Demibuste Marble Candoglia"
Demibuste inspired by the Venus of ancient Greece. The sculpture is not round, but hollowed out in the back, as can be seen in the photos. The material is the precious Candoglia marble, a white and slightly pink marble, used for the construction of the Cathedral of Milan. Currently, the Candoglia marble quarries are used exclusively to extract marble intended for the restoration of the cathedral itself.
