Pair of polychrome porcelain vases with rich decoration depicting figures of samurai in combat; fan patterns on the sides. Edges adorned with finely chiseled bronzes, chiseled bronze plinths and decorated with zoomorphic figures also of Japanese manufacture. Japan, Meiji period around 1870. Height 54cm.
