China, end of the Ming dynasty, beginning of the Qing dynasty, 17th century - 18th century, very old Taoist wooden statue representing one of the judges of hell. He is dressed in formal attire, his hands in a meditation posture. On the back, there is a votive box with a missing cover. Remains of polychromy and gilding. Good condition except for slight wear without impact and a few neutralized worms. Height 20 cm. We take particular care of our packaging by using optimum protection.
