"Powder Pear Circa 1900"
Interesting powder pear from the late 19th - early 20th century of Moroccan origin. This object intended to preserve the powder for firearm was carried out in a horn. Brown bovid horn decorated by setting with brass and silver plates. The metal is chiseled and openwork with stylistic geometric, floral and plant patterns. Two decorated brass hanger rings fixed in the concave part. The closing cap is missing. Diameter in its widest part: approximately 7 cm. Inscription in Arabic engraved on a brass ring that I do not know how to translate. I present this object to you in its original condition, no major flaw, no lack, except the stopper. Brass and silver are a bit dull, of course they can be polished to get more shine. To note: collector's item on the theme of hunting. delivery: 10 € for metropolitan France.
