Large Round Spa Box In Guilloche Boxwood. Floral Motifs And Coat Of Arms Of Luxembourg. XIX °.

We offer you this box made in a Spa workshop at the end of the 19th century.
The hand-crafted guilloché decoration is very varied:
- The body of the box has a wave decoration with dotted sculpture surmounted by a guilloche on the beam: the whole being enhanced with painted foliage on a varnished faux-wood background.
- The cover, incised on the edge, has a central decoration representing the balson of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg surrounded by a floral decoration bordered by a fine guilloche.
Finally, it should be noted that the cover adapts perfectly to the box. Dimensions: diameter 15 cm, height 5.5 cm. We remain at your disposal for any further information.
