"Napoleon III Furniture"
We present a Napoleon III piece of furniture of excellent quality and above all in exceptional condition. In fact it is a combination of three possibilities: writing desk, dressing table and worker in the Louis XV spirit, curved feet, adorned with copper threads and adorned with cislés and gilded bronzes. The geometric patterns on the four sides and the top are made with predominantly rosewood marquetry. On the perimeter a molded and chiseled ingot mold, the interior is in rosewood veneer. The locks and hinges are chiseled. This piece of furniture could come out of Houses like DHIELH, SORMANI, but could have been manufactured in the Faubourg Saint Antoine in Paris by subcontractors hence the absence of signature.
