"Senneh Rug (persian)"
Senneh (Persian) wool carpet of dimensions 2.10 x 1.36 meters. A curious story relates to this city. Senneh is at the origin of the name given to the Persian knot, while nomads and artisans of this region have always used the Turkish knot for the manufacture of their rugs. With very refined workmanship (density of up to 800,000 knots per m2), the Sennehs have had no difficulty in carving out a place in the carpet market. They have an extremely fine pile because they are cut very short. It is nevertheless important to note that their longevity does not suffer. Their decor consists of a repetition of small patterns all over the field. They are most often botehs, heratis or small flowers.
