"Japanese Sweet Note - XIXth"
Charming sweet late 19th century note in wood and Martin varnish.
Asian-inspired, its decor of birds, insects and vegetation is treated like Chinese or Japanese lacquers, it is present on all surfaces of the furniture.
A flap opens onto a letter holder, two small racks for the inkwells on either side of a flat space used to place the pen holders, all in black lacquer, gold glitter.
A glass inkwell is missing.
Good general condition, traces of time, some impacts on the wood, lacks, worn felt on the inside of the flap.
Key present.
Small in size but very decorative, this piece of furniture can be easily placed anywhere.
