Large miniature on copper, portrait of a gentleman from the end of the 17th century wearing the Lavallière, French school of very fine craftsmanship, inscriptions on the back of the frame: Mr Paillet (to be compared with Christophe Paillet, painter and "guard of paintings" of King Louis XIV from 1679 to 1705) and presence of numbering on the back of the frame, good general condition, dimension without frame H11 cm x W9.8 cm, dimension with frame H24.5 cm x L23 cm.
