Teacher of decoration techniques and dealer of paintings, from 1924 he participated in the Salon des Indépendants. He is famous in Paris and in the United States for his work as a decorator. He also creates beautiful watercolors and oil paintings in joyful and light tones that draw inspiration from the landscapes of the French Riviera, Normandy, Quercy and South East France.
He works with Antoine, Jacques Copeau and Lugné-Poë in the preparation of the sets for the Russian Ballets, at the Theaters of the Champs-Elysées and at the Odéon in Paris, at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and in Philadelphia. Friend and admirer of Raoul Dufy, he lets himself be influenced by his colors and his compositions.
