"Adolf Wiesner (czech 1871-1942) Breakfast With Parrot"
Adolf Wiesner, an artist of Judeo-Czech origin, was born in Prague. He studied with Vojcech Hynais in Prague and Professor Setz in Munich. A. Wiesner's works have been exhibited in Prague, Vienna and St. Petersburg. In 1899, Baron Rotschild noticed a young artist and granted him a scholarship to be able to study in Paris. Adolf Wiesner remained there until 1911 when his paintings were exhibited at the Salon. In 1942, the artist was assassinated in “Terezin”, a Nazi concentration camp.
