Jacques BIRCKLE was one of the suppliers of Louis XVI's furniture storage. Elegant chest of drawers in rosewood marquetry veneer with butterfly wings resting in amaranth frames and boxwood fillets. This 17th century chest of drawers, a transition from the Louis XV - Louis XVI eras, opening on the front with two drawers without crossbar, rests on curved legs. Light gray marble top with original projections. Beautiful ornamentation of gilded bronzes. Good state of conservation, restorations of use and maintenance.
