Superb rococo style sugar bowl from the XIXth century in solid silver. It rests on 4 claw feet surmounted by volutes and finely chiseled acanthus. The sugar bowl itself is decorated with arabesque and geometric patterns, and includes a numbered PR coat of arms on its face. There are also 2 handles allowing the transport and the whole is capped with a cover whose grip is in the shape of a flower. High quality work of the silversmith Claude Doutre-Roussel French silversmith, hallmarked at the head of Minerva 1st title received master silversmith in Paris in 1895. Total weight 319 grams.
