Adrien Étienne Gaudez - (1845 - 1902)
French sculptor, born in Lyon on February 9, 1845 and died in Neuilly-sur-Seine on January 23, 1902.
Pupil of François Jouffroy at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1862.
Prisoner of war in Magdeburg during the Franco-Prussian war in 1870, we owe him in particular the monument in memory of the French prisoners of this city.
