Interesting and mysterious carved wood paneling forming a coat of arms. This curious object has not revealed all its secrets ... is it a wood paneling? an item of religious (and / or Masonic) furniture? of a corporate sign? .... the symbols which are represented there can indeed lead to very many interpretations. This beautiful panel is surmounted by a thick crown fixed by very old wrought iron nails (and subsequently reinforced by a few points). This woodwork was originally painted, very many traces of polychromy are still clearly visible on the whole of the object. This panel is very old (probably late 17th century or very early 18th century). It is in good condition, some signs of wear and some lacks are to be noted.
