Beautiful pair of family portraits of children were executed ca. in the 1850s by a good listed French figure, miniature and genre watercolorist Héloïse Susanne Colin, to marrige Leloir (1820 - Paris - 1873). She was the daughter of the historical painter Alexandre-Marie Colin and the mother of the painter-illustrator Maurice Leloir. Héloïse Colin married the painter Jean-Auguste Leloir in 1842.
