Exceptional and important striking watch and central seconds from (Plan à Genève) circa 1795.Enamel dial with central second hand, Arabic numerals, burnished steel Breguet hands.
Magnificent movement in gilded brass, with cylinder escapement (invisible balance located under the dial) striking the hours and quarters on demand by pressing the bail on two gongs included in the movement, (extremely rare)
Totally atypical and probably unique movement, with advance-delay adjustment thanks to a cursor between 6 and 7 o'clock, setting the time of the hands thanks to a toothed wheel between 3 and 4 o'clock, and stop watch thanks to a cruseur located on the case at 2 o'clock.
Plain vermeil case pierced on the bottom to let the sound of the ringing pass. Gross weight 114 gr.
