Beautiful box key, known as Wedding, large oval ring pierced with a saw, giving birth to a heart in the center of interlacing. Hollow shank, wide turned base typical of the Renaissance, bit with 6 teeth and 4 slits, very flared reception. The groom offered this key to his bride, thus entrusting her with the management of the house. French work, late 16th or early 17th century. Dimensions: 12cm x 3.5cm
