Clovis DELACOUR (1859-1929) - French sculptor born in Châtillon-sur-Seine developed his artistic career in Paris, where he studied with sculptor Augustin-Jean Moreau-Vauthier, famous mainly for his intimate works in bone. He joined the Society of French Artists in 1892, participated in the 1900 Universal Exhibition in Paris, and exhibited at the Royal Academy in London. Her works can be found in many museums around the world, for example the work Nude with Butterfly can be found at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore and the work Andromeda at the Lady Lever Art Gallery in Liverpool.
