Oil on canvas depicting Santa Margherita di Antiochia, taken from the most famous painting by Annibale Carracci "The apparition of the virgin in San Luca and Santa Caterina", preserved in the Louvre, and "Santa Margherita", also by Annibale Carracci, located at the Church of Santa Caterina di Funari in Rome. For the representation of the two saints Annibale Carracci curiously used the same preparatory card.
The painting shows no attributive sign.
