Thai Buddha in gilded bronze with gold leaf standing in samabhanga with the right hand raised in abhaya mudra and the left hand lowered to that side. The belted uttarasangha and samghati, serene face with downcast eyes, elegantly arched eyebrows, full lips forming a subtle smile. Flanked by long earlobes, the hair arranged in spiky curls topped by a fiery ushnisha. With a modern associated wooden base. Very good state. Restoration of the ushnisha. Accompanied by a thermoluminescence test from the QED laboratory. Thailand, period of the Ayutthaya Kingdom - End of 17th century. Dimensions: Height: 48.5 cm without base - 61 cm with base.
