Large Chinese statue representing the bodhisattva Guanyin. Her face is imbued with serenity, her hair is styled in a bun on the top of her head. She is represented seated in rajalilasana. Her right hand is resting on her knee, her left hand near her thigh. She is dressed in dresses and is adorned with jewelry. Very good general condition except for wear of the polychromy due to time. Probably from a private Buddhist altar from the end of the 19th century. China - Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) - Late 19th century. Dimensions: Height: 82 cm; Length: 57 cm; width: 49 cm.
