"Ghom Carpet (iran)"
Ghom carpet (Iran) in korke wool of dimensions 2 x 1.40 meters. Hand-knotted carpet with a density of 750,000 knots per m2. Boteh pattern. The Ghom Carpet is a type of carpet produced in Iran in the Qom region 150 kilometers south of Tehran. In Qom, the manufacture of rugs began at the beginning of the 20th century. They are distinguished by their fine workmanship and their velvet in Wool or Silk. They are often tied tightly, with the Persian knot, and have various patterns borrowed from various Iranian origins (Boteh pattern, floral decorations, medallions, trees of life ...)
