A Louis XVI Classicist dressing table. Closed, it can also be used as a desk or a table. It rests on tapered legs and its top is divided into three and two drawers. Species of precious wood were used: walnut, rosewood, ebony or lemon wood. The tops are in veneer folded in four, an elegant marquetry representing geometric friezes. The bronze fittings still refer to the style of the previous era - Louis XV. Louis XVI, France, circa 1780. Height 71.5 cm, length 81 cm, width 45 cm.
