Michèle Salmon was a student of Georges Rohner and Jacques Despierre at the National School of Decorative Arts.
She is a painter of sensations, of atmospheres with a sense of the marvelous that relates her to the surrealists. Her characters appear through a play of light and shadow, without hair and without expression: intangible and mysterious beings.
She participated in the Salon d'Automne from 1969.
Graduated from ENSAD with a master's degree in mural art in 1970, she exhibited that year at the Salon des Artistes Français.
Elected correspondent of the Academy of Fine Arts (painting section) in 2009.
