"Console-sideboard Of The Maison Mercier Paris"
Very pretty high-quality console table in amboyna burl with pretty gilt bronze Greek-style scraps, two solid oak drawers with veneered fronts with, inside a drawer, a plaque mentioning "Mercier brothers furniture in Paris" and a mirror at the back. Beautiful and thick (3 cm) green marble top surmounted by a mirror that can be dismantled, with gilt bronze surround and marquetry of various precious woods and mother-of-pearl. Our furniture is from around 1920. Maison Mercier is renowned for its high quality furniture.
