The side handle is decorated with acanthus leaves. The hinged mounted lid is finished with a rose flower shaped grip. French work around 1900, Louis XV style. 950/1000 silver, Minerva Maitre Orfèvre hallmarks: Henri Laigniez Paris, 68 Quai des Orfèvres.
