Stew Spoon - Sterling silver Coat of arms under Count Crown Length - Lenght: 31.5 cm. / 12.10 in. Sterling silver weight - Sterling silver weight: 196 Gr. Master Goldsmith: Louis III, known as Sansom the elder - 1788 - Toulouse Son of Louis II and Jeanne-Marie Fraissinet Born in Toulouse on February 1, 1753, baptized on 10. Received master silversmith in 1778 Large solid silver stewing spoon by Louis III known as Samson eldest son. This elegantly charming serving piece that is the timeless threaded model is in excellent condition; its oval spoon is not worn out by time nor the contours of the spatula, which is engraved on the reverse with a coat of arms topped with a count's crown. (origin not sought). Micro-marks and micro-scratches from use. Very nice patina.
