The present ‘bridal crown’ consists of a sheet silver that has been cut and punched. It shows on the front side a variegated, lavish decoration made of soldered silver wire, granulated spheres, and small turquoise-coloured gems as well as polished, coloured glass stones (red, green and dark violet).
The sweeping arcs on either side of this rigorously symmetrical tiara are delicately engraved, decorated and gilded, as are most of the repoussé, lancet-shaped silver pendants on the front side. With three chains and a fastening hook.
A very rare piece, in good condition
