Mahogany Box 12 Drawers
This cardboard box, a storage unit designed to protect its contents, is made up of a structure with compartments into which cardboard boxes are inserted, the front of which is sheathed in leather. The side uprights, on hinges, can pivot and lock access to the boxes by a lock system. Originally studied to store confidential files and papers, a notary's furniture par excellence, its use has been extended over the years as a storage cabinet for various collections, stamps, postcards, coins, drawings, herbaria, and more. gives it, despite its less theatrical aspect, its title of cabinet.
