"Sofa L XVI By Pluvinet"
Basket sofa in original gilded beech, some chips in the gilding but period gilding never re-gilded. It rests on 7 tapered fluted legs with rudenture very beautiful nervous sculpture on the whole seat in the center of the high and low crossbars of large knotted ribbons typical of the ornamental repertoire of the L XVI period from which the rows of piastres start, the armrests carved with beautiful acanthus the grooves of the feet are nervous. The fabric needs to be changed but this seat still has all its original upholstery including a large horsehair cushion and two removable feather cushions but the old silk needs to be changed.
