Object description :

"Charles Henry Fromuth (american 1861 - 1937) Pastel Seaside Landscape In Brittany"
Between sky and sea, boats on the bay in calm weather, perhaps off Concarneau; beautiful sea reflections under a heavy sky as this artist loved to paint them, who had become so in love with Brittany that he settled there. Infinite shades of blue, green, pink ... The artist particularly liked to reproduce the changing effects of the sea, its colored nuances that he loved. Signed and dated 1934 lower center. Dimensions: At sight: 26 cm x 34 cm Frame: 44.5 cm x 54.5 cm Good condition. Discreet alterations at the edge of the frame and slight wear of the silk velvet Marie-Louise. Sorry for the quality of the photos greatly reduced by the reflections due to the glass. Many other objects to discover in my stand at the antique fairs in which I participate. Follow my gallery to be informed of news and to know the dates of the next Trade Shows ... Any questions? Do not hesitate to call me or send me a message. I will answer you with great pleasure.
