"Indonesia, Bali - Early Rt Deco Wooden Sculpture Around 1920-1930"
Depicting a topless woman dancing and holding a tambourine in her right hand. One can notice from share the very pure style, the attitude and the shape of the face that it is here about a sculpture very early in the period known as "Art Deco", probably between 1920 and 1930. These sculptures are difficult to find because very often poorly considered in the past and therefore discarded or broken. Today these statues are part of the beautiful collection. The wood is light and the patina dark. It should be noted a slit on the front of the base as well as a blow on the top of the cap. Height: 36cm
