"Granary Door Toraja, Celebes Islands"
In the mountains of the Celebes Islands, the Toraja people worship the Ox, a symbol of wealth and power. The artistic treatment of this 19th century door is particularly refined and emphasizes a perfect balance between the orbs of the horns, the muffle and the ears of the buffalo. The clear patina reinforces the overall elegance of this work of art. The height is 80 cm with the base.
