Charming painting representing a lively street of two characters. Our painting is signed top right R.Bondenet. Our oil on canvas was painted by René Bondenet, native of Auxerre. In 1931 and 1932 he participated in the Salon des Indépendants (ref Bénézit). Sold in a beautiful, richly sculpted Montparnasse-style frame, this urban landscape is dated 1944 and bears the number 1.775, it was produced in Wissous in the painter's studio (notification on the back of the canvas).
